I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend The Life Insurance Companies Ordinance, 1907

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

The Governor's Instructions

This Ordinance effects certain amendments in The Life Insurance Companies Ordinance 1907.

That Ordinance received the careful consideration of the

Actuarial Adviser of the Board of Trade, and the amendments are

based on his suggestions.

Section 6 created a trust in favour of policy holders. The
